Two clarifications… or “corrections” to my last post:
1. I’m not quite 25 just yet. A month and a few days shy… but that’s basically the same thing right?
2. Maybe it was a bit of an exaggeration to say all of my friends are married, engaged, or shopping for rings… in all reality, it’s maybe only about 95% of my friends that are married, engaged, or shopping for rings… that makes a big difference doesn’t it? Ha. I thought so too.
You see, something to take into consideration with all of this talk about being single while all 95% my friends are married, engaged, or shopping for rings… I’m from a small town in Virginia where that’s just what you do. Being married young seems to be the status quo (obviously). If I were in a large city, I’d be what they call “normal.” Young, 25 (scratch that, 24 and 11 months) and single is like the beginning of life… the start to your sex-and-the-city lifestyle extravaganza. Love doesn’t come until later, 30-ish? They say 30 is the new 20… but I think they forgot to add the disclaimer: “only showing in select cities – your’s not included…”
